My second collection, based on the Corset Influences. Corset in the history worn by women under outfit to help created shape of their bodies and make the waist looked smaller. Here we are, in a new century, where we want to wear corset but not under outfit. Now, we wear corset outside, look gorgeous and sexy. Its functions still help create shape of women's bodies like in the history.
Let me have a summary of our projects: 1 step: we chose a category, then we picked Influences, all influences must be relates to each other. Then we picked our company, the companies that we are designing for. Then, we find out our target customers. Next steps are: see our competitor company, see their weekness and strongest. Then figure out our company strongs and improve our weekness to make sure that we will be the winners. I found out my story colors for the season and the first collection. Then we do the first line, my first line is Empire Influences, the second line is Corset influences. You can see that my influences is History era. Then I hand sketched my first lines to creat ideas, after that I picked out dresses that I liked and sketched on Adobe Illustrator. After that, I put them together on a Board, where I also used Adobe Illustrator to created background and shadows. And here it is, my second line: Corset Influences.

Empire Inspire
Welcome to " House of TL", these are my first Empire Collection. I'm inspire by the high waist dresses of the Empire era. Why ? Because high waist dress help petite people look taller, show up women's upper part of her body which make she looks feminine and sexy. It's also hide up women who doesn't have a flat stomach. For my opinion, whenever i'm wearing an Empire Dress, I feel I'm Juliet in Shakespeare. Empire dresses are styles that never fade away by times.
So in this collection, I have three dresses in long length and three are is short length. I also picked a color story for my collection because I've to make sure that it's the right color for the season and it's the right colors for my target customers. My Target Customers are Juniors and misses, from 16 to 30 years olds. They are out going, love shopping and playful. People who are looking for sweet sixteen dresses, occasionals party, cocktail party, weddings, and peagant.
I also using ruffles, rhine stones in this collection because I believe that is a hot trend right now. Women always want to be glowing that's why Diamond is expensive. On a garment, Rhinestone is like women's diamond therefore I want to use rhinestone as a trim for my collections. Ruffle, in another way is helping a garment looks charm and sexy. When a women wear something with ruffle, she looks like a flower.

Forever young skirt.
From the last Spring Refreshing skirt that I made, I had half yard of fabric left over so I sew this mini skirt. It's very easy and if you're fast enough you can make this skirt in less than 15 mins. All you need is just fabric, lining fabric and an elastic for the waist band. The fabric lenghth is depends on how long you want your skirt to be, mine is just about 15 or less (inches). First, I sew the lining and the self fabric together. Then I sew the side seams of the lining and the self. Then, I sew the waist band and connected the waist band to the skirt. Make sure that the waist band and the skirt is evenly divided so that it is in the correct shape of the skirt. And finally, all I have to finish was the hem of the skirt and the lining. It doesn't sound complicated right ? In less than 15 minutes you will finish a skirt that you can wear with any tank top you like. If you are a teen style, you can actually make a bow out of the same fabric as the self, or you can use a different color bow so that it will bring up more on your skirt. If you are more of a modern, sexy style, you can combine the skirt with a waist band. You can wear under the top or on top. It's all depends on you and your style. Summer is here, I hope you enjoy this nice season with some cute skirts that you can wear to the beach, on street, or school. Have a nice summer!

TL Accessories
ACCESSORIES
During my leissures times in last summer, I was so bored and had nothing to do so I came up with an idea of making accessories. And here it come, my Earing collections. I bought beads, pearls( fresh water pearl) and findings(Sterling silver) at a Jewelry finding store where they gave me 50% off. I started on my project by bought tools and did some researchs on accessories. I came up with these ideas naturally because I liked something simple and cute. With these earing, you can wear and combine them with any kinds of clothes you would like to wear. I love pearls and black beads because I believe black is a very mystery color and it's a universal because it will go with anything. My skills has been better and better each time I finished a whole set of earings. I also like to use Sterling Silver for my collection because I got irritate when I wear plastic or iron findings. I knew a lot of people who also get irritate with other metals, but Sterling and real gold is the best choice for those people. I had more than what I show up here but I had giving some away to relatives and friends. My summer was meaningful to me since I kept myself busy and also bring joys to other people as I gave these earings to them. Life is Beautiful!
